STATUTE:

Our Professional Association has applied to the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture with to operate at Spor Cad. Acısu Sok. Tahsinbey Apt. No. 1/16 34357 Maçka / İSTANBUL in the area of film producers who realise the first fixing of cinematographic films in compliance with Article 42 of Law No. 5846 on Intellectual Property and Works of Art amended by Law No. 5101 and the relevant provisions of the Regulation on the Professional Associations and Federations of Authors of Intellectual Property and Works of Art and Neighbouring Rights Owners. The Association has started its activities in accordance with the Ministry’s authorisation No.91460 dated 25 May 2007 followed by the investigation concluded by the Ministry.

In order to achieve its goals our Professional Association aims to establish administrative and professional relationships with overseas public institutions and bodies, private law real and legal persons in particular. As a result of cooperatative agreements to be concluded to this end, our association will organise festivals, meetings, promotion events both in Turkey and abroad as well as it will take part in such organisations and serve as a bridge between different cultures.

On the other hand, besides providing protection to its members rights, our Professional Association will also extend its activities to protect the rights of foreign national real persons and/or legal persons in Turkey build by the laws of foreign countries who have neighbouring rights in connection with the rights of authors; it will follow up these rights and will ensure the collection of indemnities that may emerge in their behalf and fees emanating from their neighbouring rights based on rights of authors.
